Power Compact for Refugium light?

I have 2 extra 65w pc retros and am in the process of upgrading my 90g. Would this work if I was to put one of the retros on the top part of my bottom cabinet and have it as my refugium light on reversal lighting?

Yup, would work probably more than you need, lol. Personally, I just ran to home depot and use one of the spiral type PC bulbs, cheap, about $10 for a decent one, or alternativly I have found 3-packs at the dollar store for about $5. As long as color spectrum is right, you'll want closer to a 6500k bulb for a refugium light (for growing macro algae, if you do not plan to have macro algae in the fuge, than any light would work, even a normal bulb)

I used that lighting over a 20g refugium and was very happy with it.
