Ok i have a max jet power head that i can no longer get the suction cups to stick to the glass of my tank. i have scraped the glass. cleaned the cups with a brush. and still it won't stick for more then 20 min. any ideas on how to get it to stick again? the powerhead falling off has created another problem i know have sand all over my rock and everything else in my tank. any ideas how to get it off my rock with out tearing it all down? thanks

Suction cups are garbage. Do you still have the hanger it came with. It'll work way better. A turkey baster will clean off the rocks.

any suction cups i have kept in saltwater for any length of time get hard and lose their flexability. once they lose that they can no longer get a good suction no matter how much you clean them. i'm sure you could find some replacements for pretty cheap. i personally have gone to magnetic fixation for everything in my tank. you can buy a pair of wavemakers w/magnets on ebay for about half of the price of koralias. they seem to work well for me anyways. i have even superglued my seaweed clip to a dedicated magfloat because i was tired of it losing suction, falling down and having to dig it out after an hour.

as far as the sand on the rock goes, i usually just hold a powerhead in my hand and use it to blow off all my rock and corals. just be careful as to not stir up more sand in the process. i have found this method to be the quickest and easyist

I would upgrade that maxi jet to a powerhead that comes with a magnet, uses less wattage, and has more flow.

I forgot the name of the mod kit, but I think its something like sureflow. It mods the maxijet to crank out more water and the maker sells a magnetic holder. I think most of the online stores sell it. I'm not sure if any of the OK local stores do.
