Power Netgear WiFi adapter through AquaBus?

The Netgear WNCE2001 can be powered by a USB cable that it comes with.

It's normally plugged into a spare USB port on a computer, game console, etc.

Can I plug this into the AquaBus for power?

NO!!!

AquaBus is a 12 volt system; USB is 5 volt.

Yeah... just read in the manual something to the effect of not plugging AquaBus accessories into your PC, and vice versa.

So I won't be trying that. Would have been a little tidier.

On a related note, this wifi adapter is miniscule! 3.2 x 2.4 inches.

I wish wifi was built into the Apex, but this adapter might be the next best thing. At least in cramped spaces.
