Power out!!

My freakin power has been out for over 3 hours, and my battery backup is almost out of juice. Man I hate thunderstorms!!!! Next investment is a generator. I hope they get it fixed soon or it is going to be a long sad night. I have some battery air pumps and elbow grease for flow....we'll see what happens when the backup dies.

power came back on. Battery backup made it. Thanks Duracell. Thing worked out great. I would tell anyone to get it. It's a Duracell 300, and it's awesome.

I feel your pain. I was sweating it a couple weeks ago when I lost power for over 24 hours, luckily my neighbors across the street helped me out. I live in an area where there a ton of huge oak trees and their limbs hang directly over power lines. No one bothers to trimb the limbs, myself included. I coughed up the money, $500 last week for a generator and two 5 gallon gas cans. To everyone who reads this, don't put off buying a generator, get one before you lose power.

Mine saved me for 5 full days last December just after xmas. Friday 10a.m. thru Tuesday night 7p.m. Went thru about 50 gallons of gas, keep that in mind.

50 gallons of gas is better than sitting in a dark room staring at a candle burn lol.

Yep, ran my TV, all of my tanks, heaters, fridge, dishwasher, furnace, etc.

I think it's going to be well worth it. Especially during the winter when you need heat. I'd buy 50 gallons of gas so my pipes don't burst. Get's pretty cold up here. Couple hours up here without heat in winter is a disaster.

Where did you get the Duracell 300 from?

I bought that Duracell off of Amazon. It was 75 I think. Good investment in the short term. It also can jump your car, and fill the tires.
