Power outage....

My power went off last night around 7:00. It came on tonight at 8:00. (25 hours)
I didn't have a back up plan. I went out to petland this morning and got a battery powered air pump.
Water temp got down to 67 degrees.
Everything seems to be ok. Both clowns, dottyback and goby are swimming and I gave them a little food and they are eating. I prayed for these little guys and my prayers were answered.
The devils hand looks ok. The xenia seems to be coming around a little slower.
I will be better prepaired the next time. (I found out a little while ago that my father-in-law has a generator!!!)

Generators are life savers! Thats what got my tank through a couple weeks ago with that ice storm.

Glad to hear things faired pretty well. I'm gonna have to get one of those sooner than later. Every time one of you share these stories it make me unforget

Well I got a small all in one cube tank two years ago for valentines day and the storm has claimed it. I gave away everything living last night but now i'm ready to step it up for a bigger tank (and a generator)

I just loaned my generator to a friend of my wife's. This is the first time it has ever been started.

I've said it before, might as well say it again. If any member of the club ever needs to borrow it just let me know. In return you can hook me up with a frag if I ever set up another tank. No obligation though.
