Power strips plugged into EB8?

I am just trying to figure out how I want to configure my available outlets. I currently have my two MH sockets and the two fans for the canopy plugged into one power strip so I can just flip the power switch to turn both MH lights on along with the fans.
Is there anything wrong with just taking the power cord for this power strip and plugging it into one of the EB8 outlets so I can set it up to automate coming on and turning off with a set time?

I use power strips all the time; just be mindful of the total current for each outlet and total for all devices connected to the EB8.
