Power Strips

I have a question regarding power strips. I have a power strip with a timer but without battery backup. I have a strip with battery backup but without a timer. Is it alright to plug the timer strip into the battery backup strip or with this be too much for the fuse to hold? Will it be safe?

I'm not an electrician but I think that as long as you don't try to draw more amps than the circuit is rated for you will be ok
