Power supply for original mp40

Hi,

I have the upgrade "kit " for the mp20 to mp40. My mp20 is working fine. When I switch out the board and connect the mp40 power supply the powerhead is not working. The little light on the power supply fails to light up so can I assume it's gone bad? Where can I get a replacement? I have seen them sold on ebay but am not sure they are compatible. Thanks!!
