Power supply question.

Hi guys,

Sorry if this was asked already. I have a few power supplies (HLG-185H-42A) leftover from my previous project. Is there any other use for it besides driving LED? I'm planning on using it to replace a couple of my old Tunze power supplies.

Thanks

LED drivers only...
Or anywhere that needs constant current.. Tunze is constant voltage I'm sure

HLG is either constant voltage or current..As long as you stay in the CV range..

you can use the 24V model to power 24V DC pumps. If you approach the maximum current it is able to provide at 24V, it will drop the voltage so that it is able to maintain its rated current. This voltage drop is harmless to Jebao pumps, that is how some people adjust their power.

I don't know what you could do with the 42V version, unless you have a 42V DC pump (you don't).

Thanks everyone.

the voltage of your model is adjustable between 38 and 46 volts. have you looked at the data sheet?

Yup, just did. Thanks.

Sorry didn't look at the data sheet before the op, was sure that I can drop v lower than 42, just not sure how low.
