Powerful yet energy efficient pump. Options? Suggestions?

There are plenty of good options out there for powerful pumps but they all clash into one of the 2 problems:

1: They won't do the pressure with an appropriate output. My set up entails a 25 foot vertical head, and a 30 foot horizontal head, plus about ten 90 deg elbows and a manifold feed, a total of around 12.8 PSI. The only pumps that I have found that will handle the pressure and STILL give me 3000-6000 GPH at the display (my targeted flow rate) have another issue:

2: They all run 1/3, 1/2, 1 and 1.5 HP motors, which all kick out at bare minimum 800 watts. Even the ReeFlo UNO Gold (gold's are the energy efficient ones) still does around 700-800.

10-20 Amps running 24/7 for just the return is going to cost me fortunes.

Are there any good options out there that can

A: Conquer the head pressure with 3000-6000 GPH at the tank.

B: Run under 700W.

Im not sure you are going to find a pump that is efficient with what you want. That is alot of head and flow.

What size tank? Is going lower flow and powerheads in the tank an option at all? If you rely on tank flow from this, can you do a closed loop at the tank?

Powerheads are out.

If I can't find a pump that fits the requirements, I was thinking about closed loop as you mentioned. But still, I can't find a pump that will give me at LEAST 2000GPH at the tank.

I am going to speak with ReeFlo and get an exact power pull at my pressure with the Manta Ray Gold.

I wonder if the Water Blaster pumps have enough output for your use. Last time I checked, I think they had the HY-100K version (around 2500 gph?).

Check out the Sequence pumps made by MDM Inc. They have a pump selector chart that you can enter all your above values to get the pump you need. They have some pretty efficient and strong pumps. I think you are going to have a hard time finding a pump that meets all your criteria though. Most big pumps chew up the power. These Sequence pumps really move some water though for the amount of watts used.
