So currently i am looking at power heads ,thought I had it figured out with maxspect gyre and now hearing mixed reviews . So I am looking at conventional power heads ! I would love the vortechs however not looking at them right now as they are expensive as everyone knows as well I am not fully sure what I am looking at having for corals . So planning on some decent tunzee s.
My question is one is flow and turnover rates . I have a 75 gallon and plan on a power heads at each end ! So I need two heads and this may sound stupid , but being one pointing at each other does that change turnover rates ?meaning two power heads rated at 1000gph each would give a total of 2000 gph ?
Second of all does anyone have suggestions for tunzee power heads I did some reading and some say where the tank falls in ie good for 50 to 90.gallons and then I will see rated for
10 to 55+ gallons plus , confused at the moment
Price wise I don't want to spend four hundred on a power head however I dont want a pos that I paid 40 bucks for any input would be great !
