Powerhead in Refugium?

Tonight I plumbed my BRS dual reactor (GFO and carbon) off the plumbing line that supplies my refugium. This leaves me with an "extra" maxijet 1200, so I was thinking of just leaving it running in my fuge to add a little more flow within (not through) the fuge.

Anyone else do this? Good idea? Bad idea? The tube worm in my fuge seems to like the extra flow.

System info:
200 gallon display
Sump built out of a 75
~25 gallon fuge
Flow from sump to display is an Eheim 1262 that is split to feed the fuge

Hope all this makes sense. Thanks for any advice.

I believe the power head is a bad idea. A refuge IMO should be a calm and relaxed environment where plants and animals are allowed time to work on the nutrients in the refuge. Think slow and calm water through that area. That's what I have been told and do practice. Slow and calm.
