I know its another one of those threads :rolleye1: but I really need some suggestions. 75g standard size tank and 2 new Tunze 6105.
I cannot for the life of me get a perfect combo for flow going on. They are both turned all the way down @ the minimum 700gph. Figured these gave me some headroom if I ever wanted more plus they were a good deal used. This current setup is pretty close.

Don't mind the extra koralia on the left just part of the trials here.
The Tunze on the left rear pointing almost perfect diagonally slightly up to intersect some the the other, basically at the head on the right pointing at up and at the front glass. Move the left one its either too much movement on top and its crazy loud going into the overflow or they hit each other too hard and make a crazy sandstorm in the middle and whip my octo and flowerpot around too hard. Move the right one and it will hit the opposite glass too fast and clear all the sand in the two left corners within 30 minutes and create bubbles from hitting the glass that get sucked into the left pump that go micro. Tried the right one pointed at the front glass mounted further back near the return and practically blew the octo over coming down from the glass.
I'm very happy with where they are at here, not too much noise, minor sand movement, and lps is not in a hurricane but I fear there's not enough flow at the bottom and any minor change goes way overboard . It has great flow upper 50% but not much below.
Side note I got a ReefKeeper Lite for Christmas so the APC module is on the way hoping I can maybe go wave mode and get some more flexibility here. I'm open to suggestions but I feel like I've put them just about everywhere possible. Thanks for reading!
