Powerhead placement

I'm getting my second PH this week. I have a korillia nano and I'm getting a K3. Is there better placement ways then others? Should I crisscross or have both on one side.
What I was kinda thinking is having the K3 as my main flow and have the nano blow behind the rocks at the back of the tank.
Any thoughts? BTW I have a 35g tank.
Thanks

You will just have to play with the placement in an effort to prevent dead spots. Most crisscross them to help create a more variable flow but depending on how your rocks are set that may not work best. You want to reduce/eliminate dead spots, add surface agitation and have a pattern that moves water through your rocks to keep wastes from accumulating on the nooks and crannies. Laminar flow is also something you want to avoid and the K3 is going to overpower the nano. You may find its best to point your K3 into your rocks so the flow bounces off and through them and have the nano up top.

I like to move mine around every couple of weeks or so.
Keep the current changing, and before a WC I like to take a PH and blast my rocks so I can siphon out any detritus that has accumulated
