Powerhead Placement

I am restarting a tank and am getting towards the end of the cycle. Here are a few pictures of my rock work from different angles:

I will be running two Jebao rw-4s on my 40 breeder with predominately softies and euphyllia corals. My Jebaos are controlled by my Apex. Does any one have a recommendation on where to place my powerheads? The current placement seems to directly blast most of the rock work which might be a bit rough for most of these corals.

Where you have them now looks fine, although you may want to move them up a little. I'm a big advocate of surface agitation. (better gas exchange) I'm guessing the flow is the strongest in the middle of the tank and then subsides as it moves towards the ends? if so, just put your Euphyllia corals on the outskirts and things like Capnella, Sarcophyton, Lobophyton etc in the middle. Zoanthids can be used to fill in the blanks so to say.

+1 on the surface agitation, also acts as a "wall" with random give, so essentially randomizes currents/flushes even more.

I personally like mounting prop style in tank powerheads on either on the upper back side or on the sides closer to the back pointing across the tank towards the front at a 45 degree angle. However, ideal placement and direction of flow is going to vary with aquascaping and coral placement.

Sorry for my crude drawing, I am no van Gogh

Thanks for the response guys, I will give the back corner placement a try and shoot for some more surface agitation. I am able to get some really good "random" flow with the programs I have set up for my power heads and man are these things powerful when cranked up, almost lost some water from my tank while playing with the oscillation timing.
