powerhead question

How can I keep my powerhead from losing it's suction? It loses suction every other day. I see you can buy magnetic holders. Any other suggestions?

you can clean the cups off really good and use a razor to clean the glass, if that dont work you can buy new cups and clean the glass, silicone cups work better than rubber if you have a choice, or you can just buy the magnet holders, they will save you alot of agrevation and sand storms, long story short, the mag holders are worth there weight in gold

a dab of silicone on the suction cup will do it

Heating the suction sups softens them and makes them stick again.

thanks for the replies everyone!!! I think I will try cleaning them off first and clean the glass
