Powerhead recommendation for 65 gallon

I have a 65 gallon mixed reef (36x18x24) and I currently run two mp10's. One of them is extremely loud even though it is less than a year old. Flow is ok but not great. I get some dead spots in the tank and continually fight cyano in those dead areas. I was considering selling one of my mp10's and purchasing an mp40 for one side of the tank. I have decided to go with the tunze instead because of how quiet they are.

Would a 6095 be a good choice for this? I would run one mp10 along with it. And does the 6095 require a controller? Thanks.

I think the 6095 is the way to go, a controller is required if you want to set pulses or alternate pumps, however, it is not required to run the pump and you can adjust it to one constant flow rate by changing the voltage.
