I have Seio and MJ powerheads run 26/7, some time I see they blow air not alot but just a puff, they all submered, is there a way to fix this, thanks
Tony.

Turn them upside down.

There will always be small amounts of gas forming in the water and all of the water should be going though the power heads. Somewhere inside the power head is a place that the gas can hang out until enough is there to be blown out. So, turn them upside down so the place the gas gets stuck won't hold it while it waits for friends. Of course, there could still be places for it to get caught up but it would be a lot less likely since the water and gas would not be going the same direction.

I tried it with mine but it looked bad and positioning them was a pita.

Sometimes my seio's do during feeding when the main pump is off so the water level is low. Then they are close to the surface and create a vortex. It looks like a mini tornado coming down to the pump. I kind of like it then as it seems like a low tide and a ton of turbulence.

Same thing here. I don't like it though. But yes, if they're too close to the surface they'll suck air from above the water.

maybe you're over running them, 26/7 is more than normal

just kidding

do you have a lot of bubbles in your water that would be collecting in there?

the rubber seals in the maxi jets need to be replaced every so often.(Most don't know they have seals)

there are rubber seals were the nozzle/screen attachment go on the power head.sorry just now checking back on this thread.
