Powerheads from Newegg?

So I was searching the internet today for the best deal on some Koralia 1400s and came across this:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA0KR05B0517

It looks too good to be true and well, usually when that's the case it is too good to be true.

I was just wondering if anybody else here has ordered equipment like this from Newegg and if so, how was the experience?

Can't speak for the pump but newegg is top notch, used them for many years and they always stand behind their sale.

I always use them for PC parts myself. I just found it a bit odd that they're selling aquarium supplies. It all looks legit, I'm wondering if it's refurbished or something.

They've become similar to amazon.com where they're a market place now for other sellers.

On the page you linked check out the item description it states:

"Sold by ABLACKHORSE"

Click on his name for his feedback.

I noticed that as well which I thought was also a bit strange. I guess it's been a while since I've bought anything from them. I wasn't aware they were doing this.

the items are sold by an outside vendor similar to ebay. the seller only has 7 reviews. i am not sure if newegg would stand behind it if there is a problem. the price isnt cheap either with $11 shipping.

Newegg is great for pc components...but I too looked at the aquarium supplies and found them to be expensive, especially the shipping. they sell for a third party...strange arrangement.

Actually the price is pretty good I think. Two of them shipped works out to be $30 cheaper than BRS. Are there any other online stores you guys recommend?
