Powerheads on/off with lights?

Should powerheads be cycled off when lights are off or run continuously in an SPS tank?

Besides, you never know what may crawl in while they are off and possibly be chopped up when they turn on...

Always leave my powerheads running full blast. Only reason not too is if its too loud in the room you sleep in or trying to lower your energy costs.

oxygen levels decrease at night when lights are out so for that reason I do not use a night mode to decrease my powerheads. I run them full blast at night.

mine cycle off at night but i still have the return pump that moves water its just a little more calming when lights are out. no problems at all.
