As far as water flow, how much is acceptable?

for my 28 gallon I have (2) Azoos measured at 317 gph each with flo deflectors on them

for my 55 i have (2) powersweeps measured i think just below 300...

the 28 will eventually be a reef

You want atleast 20 times of a turnover rate an hour for good water flow through out the tank. So you should have atleast 1100 GPH going thru the tank to accomplish this.

One wise statement I read before stated that no matter how much current you think you have in your tank, you will never match that of the ocean. So, the more the better as Blown 346 stated.
