I have been using the Jeabo rw power heads and I am not to happy with them they don't last but a year what are you guys using I like the D.C. option so I can control the flow

I buy a Tunze 9040 and after a Jebao RW4. I like much more the flow of RW 4 and better controller also. Tunze was twice expensive...
I run a new Jebao DCS 5000 feeding poump in full throttle. 1,5 meter high. It's quiet .The flow its only around 2000 liter in the tank. I have check the power usage also , 73w show my meter. Shuld be 40w
Overall Tuze its a god brand of course

In general the first gen (WP) and second gen (RW) stuff from Jebao wasn't good at all as far as longevity..
The later versions seem to be doing much better..

I've had a few PP powerheads going for years now... The OW is the latest version and SW was before that and right after PP series.. any of those 3 should do better for you..

Beyond that there is Current USA which are supposedly pretty good but still cheap..
Then you get into Tunze and Ecotech stuff and the price goes up quite a bit..
Tunze is really stuff that should last a LONG time.. Ecotech well.. pricey and longevity doesn't seem to be fantastic as the wetsides need replacement on often due to wear,etc...

Ecotech, I like the controls, including Wi-fi. Costly up front, take wet sides apart every 30 days or so. Run like champs...

Try to Ecotech MP series. Lots come up in the used section of this forum and others if sticker price shocks you.

Are you cleaning them. I usually clean mines once a month and have no had a problem. Going on 2 years now. I do also have some MP40s and grye also with them.

I think I'm going to try out the IM Wavelink midsize ones. They seem to be getting positive reviews and move a ton of water for their size. The midsize is rated at 2300g/hr. I would think they're a step up from Jebao in quality and reliability coming from IM.

I'm going on 2 years with 2 PP8's, and they have never been out of the tank to get cleaned.

With these cheap Chinese knockoffs, sometimes they work for years, and sometimes your lucky if you get a week out of them. There's a reason they are cheap.
