PPE price?

PPE price seems to be going up?..
I saw couple thread that they will sell 2 polyps for $80 to $100?

it's been like that?

I traded a 4 headed frogspawn for 2 polyps about 2 months ago. Now I have 5 ppe polyps. They seem to grow pretty fast. IMO they are not that special. Except for the green slit mouth the purple tends to blend in with my coralline on my LR.

I still see websites that are glut loaded with Acans that can't get rid of them. That was truely a flash in the pan.
But PPE's have held a high price the last several years.

the PPE are unique because there polyp are as big as a nickel and the purple color is very deep purple not just any purple u can buy at the petstore. PPE are the only paly that actuall hold there price and sometimes even see the price go up for those PPE. i seen polpy go for 80$ on a website just a day ago. i really love my PPE the most out of all the paly i own and i have a very big collection.

PPE are nice, but I like the new ones that have the teal inside ring more. Just compare:

I have couple PPE's it's very slow grower..i got it from the trade with someone for PUrple bonsai and rainbow..long time ago

I see more beautiful zoos than this one.........but supply and demand still works in this piece..

I got a decent deal, i bought 1 polyp for $50 but got about 8 polyps of RPE with it.

Sorry if this is considered hijacking the thread, but what makes something a true PPE? I see that in ads a lot. I was under the impression that it meant it was from the original Blane Pernum PPE line, but that doesn't seem to be the case. There seem to be other lines of what people are advertising as True PPE...is there something I am missing?

that sounds like a good deal..

here in MI, I've seen PPE's go for $25-$40...

IMO, if they are just the regular RPE's, probably $2-$5.. but for the true ones (w/ blue centers).. here in MI, I've seen them go for $10-$20...

I've read somewhere that PE's are more resistant to bugs or FW's since there skins are thicker and more resistent to pest than other ZOO's?

Yeah prices seem to be going up and up. Supply and Demand! Once people start to propagate more and more they will come down. The ones Impur got are SWEET!! Later Ryan
