Ryan,

No... The 75 is now a 120 (standard AGA 120-48"x24"x~25"(?)). Add two more feet and you have a 180...

I don't know where to get it. I bookmarked a few threads a while ago, because this is something I'd love to do as well. Here are the threads I bookmarked on thorite. Maybe they'll help.

sounds cool. Can't wait to see how it turns out. I'd like to be there when y'all start working on it to see how it goes.

sounds like a weekend project when we get the materials and a plan together all are welcome to come see how it works out and if we figure out what we are doing lol

after reading the other thread it is not a brick he is calling it a tile??? Dont know what kind of tile i know i will need a heavy material to anchor it down so any reefsafe material ideas are welcome

so the one on the far right toward the kitchen is an AGA 120?.... yea... I like that depth and size.

would slate rocks be reef safe? I noticed when looking at the rocks AC sales, they had slate rock, some large flat pieces. Maybe 1/2"-1" thick?

Think about a good weekend day that we can get together at your house and start collecting the stuff needed. I'm there!!!!

I found some 3/4'' acrylic rods on ebay for 15 bucks plus shipping. It is more than enough, 6 foot long, and 5 of them.

I am excited to see what we can do. I have been thinking about this for a while. But I want to add about 70-100 lbs. more of rock to my tank. But, I have to save for that and the equipment to do it with. I'm gonna need to figure out a holding system for my fish and corals before the re-aquascaping. :D

Well i cant find the rods on ebay those sound good though. the big part now is to figure out how to anchor these down so they dont tip. Something heavy!!

found some 3 foot long 3/4" 10 pieces =30 feet which is more than enough for $15 are these them?

My original thought was thick piece of acrylic sheeting with the rod, but the tipping over would be hard to control.

HEAVY base???

HMMM....

there has got to be a rock type out there that we can use.

the slate was a good idea if it isn't bad for saltwater?

Yep those are some of them. If you search for "acrylic rod" you will get about 30 different ones.
