Prazipro and appetite suppressant

I treated my tank with prazipro approximately 24 hours ago. My fish are still eating, is this normal? I was always under the assumption that fish don't really eat when treated with prazipro.

Actually, most do continue eating with Prazipro. Some just don't eat as much. A few stop eating altogether for a few days. All depends on the fish.

Just to verify, I treated the tank yesterday, in 7 days I am planning on doing about a 30-40% WC and then another treatment. After 7 days, if the fish is looking good, I am putting him in the DT. Is that the correct course to take.

I wasnt sure if you wanted to wait a 7 full days? I know you want to catch the parasite after hatching, but before they can lay more eggs? I though day 5 was the day to retreat?

I would continue the prazi for 5 days,

then give them 4 days breaks, to fatten fish up, and let the eggs hatch. they hatch in 4 days in 80 degrees I believe.

then start another round, 5 days.

usually, my fish show sign of stress by eating less after 2-3 days.

hope all goes well :)
