Prazipro Dosing Clarification

Hey all,

I am going to begin dosing PraziPro in my QT tank however the directions seem unclear to me. If I chose to do a second dose after a week, is that simply added to the tank with that same water that was previously dosed?

I am assuming this is the correct way and that Prazipro degrades in the marine enviroment so that I would not be overdosing.

Also has anyone used Prazipro and Cupramine at the same time? Were there any negative effects?

Any help is appreciated,

Jason

Since Prazi only kills the worms, and not the eggs they usually leave behind, it's best to do a second treatment 5-7 days after the first. I always do a 25% WC before hitting them with the second dose. The Prazi itself usually expires after 72 hours, but it's still a good idea to do a WC to remove the toxins/waste left behind by the first generation of dead Flukes.

I've done it before with no noticeable ill effects. However, supposedly doing so cuts down on both medication's effectiveness.

Exactly.
