Prazipro dosing ?

3 wrasses and 1 tang will be moving out of TTM later this week in to QT tank for 6 weeks. I would like to dose prazipro as a preventative and am a little unclear what is best way to do it.

Per directions, 1 dose for 5-7 days can be repeated every 3 days?

Should I dose right away, or wait for fish to settle for a couple of days?
After the 5-7 for first treatment, should I run carbon for a few days, or just dose 2nd time? Would it be best to put 2nd dose in after 3 days, wait 7 more days and run carbon?

Thanks to all of the "experts" on this forum who have taken time to post stickies and answer questions.

Well, I should have searched before posting.

Here is the plan:
Get fish into QT and dose on day 2, let run for 7 days, do a water change then 2nd dose. After day 7, I will put carbon back into the hob filter, probably do another small water change and observe for the remainder of time.

Does this sound correct? Can Prime be used with Prazi?

SG, I'm running 1.022 in my TTM, since Prazipro is also for freshwater, will it be a problem with dosing?

Prazi is also for saltwater. Your plan sounds good. I have used prime with Prazi with no problems but some people have had problems. Be very careful with Prazi and wrasses. They have a tendency to react poorly to it. They may lie on the bottom of the tank. I would slowly add the Prazi (over the course of a day or two). Be sure to aerate the water.

Would I be better off skipping it with the wrasses? I have a pair of Noake that were not cheap.
I have no reason at this time to suspect flukes, I was just wanting to be proactive but not at the expense of my fish.
If I don't dose prazi, if they do have flukes, can they be carriers or will an infection show on the fish at some time?

I'm on the same boat, 3 wrasses in qt finishing up the tank transfers in a few days. Wondering if I should dose prazipro with them.

I use prazipro with all my wrasses, Rhomboid, Flames, Labout's all did fine. Just add prazi slow over a day.

I just dosed 4 teaspoons of prazi into my 75g dt close to noon today and my Earlei wrasse seems fine. She did freak out for the first couple hours and went to her hiding spot behind a rock but seems ok now. She even ate some mysis a couple hours ago.
