Precipitate in new tank

Hello,

I'm in the process of getting everything ready for the arrival of my live rock this week. I have a stan0dard 55g that is plumbed to a sump with a DIY overflow.

I am using RO/DI water at 1.025 sg and 80 degrees F. I added IO salt a pound at a time until it was up to the proper sg 7 days ago and the tank has been wet testing and coming up to temp since then. (It is completely empty, nothing but a MJ1200, sump plumbing, and a thermometer. No substrate either)

Since I added salt a 7 days ago I have had a continuous but gradual white precipitate growing on the bottom glass, my heater, and my pumps. Today I noticed some small circular precipitates on the side and front glass as well. I checked ph just to see where it was at. Ph is 8.3.

Does anybody have any ideas about what is causing this precipitation? Perhaps it's just normal? Sorry but I'm completely new to saltwater.

(Edit) I google searched RC but didn't seem to find anything on this topic.

Can you get a pic? 'Precipitate' might not be the right word to use in this case. Honestly it could just be something simple like salt accumulation or something. A pic would surely help in diagnosing this issue.

Here are some pics...

Assuming it is just salt, what would cause it to come out of solution when the water is warm and constantly moving?
