I got ready for my new addition today Dip set :-D

Not exactly. I just dipped my jb in bayer for 5 min 2 weeks ago and it's showing absolutely no ill effects. Congrats on getting one.

I always have the blade in case there's some funky looking algae to scrape of frags I'll use it to crack encrusted pieces of rock off or scrape off snails, I just like to be prepared. I dip everything & you should too, better safe than sorry bro there are some Hitchhiker's that could turn your thriving reef into a graveyard, believe that!! Mushrooms are actually pretty fairly Hardy and handled the dip very well. Lmao on the Dexter comment I love that show.

Don't know if you know this but the two people who questioned you on dipping the JB and you gave reef advice to were both successful online vendors at one time.
Glad the dipping worked well for you.

Oops I didn't know I was addressing experts, no offense intended. I just don't have any pest & don't want any :-) Dips remind me of that old saying "Trust everybody but cut the cards" I've had good success with Coral revive as a dip and right now I'm treating it like Rubens Red Hot " I put that s*** on everything!!! lmao

I wasn't implying you offended anyone, I don't think you did, I just thought it amusing. Both Miguel and Ian definitely know their way around a reef aquarium.
