Preparing a location for 200DD

Well life has happened and it looks like I will be needing to move my 200DD to a new location in another house.

1) I have already had the floor joists reinforced in the crawl space

Now for the next part of the preparation. Preparing the floor above the joists.

Currently carpeted which has to go for many reasons.

Now as I understand it the better two options are: direct on subfloor or tile.

Options?

A wood floor on wood is perfect. You would have to put a floating membrane to put tile down so save yourself some extra work

By wood I assume hardwood (including engineered hardwood)? Floating membrane?
