Presales question on 3155 Osmolator

I am planning on purchasing one of these ATOs for my 20G nano. However, my tank is rimmed (black trim), and I can't stand seeing the waterline below the trim. How far below the top of the magnetic mount is the waterline in a normal install? Hopefully, it's less than the distance from the top of my tank to the bottom of the trim.

The trim affects how high you can place the magnets, usually the water line is about 3/4" below the trim.
