Preston Driveway Heat

Someone told me that Randy has suggested using Prestone Driveway Heat to raise calcium and alkalinity in the tank.
I don't know the whole detail about it. But if true, can someone tell me how to use it and include any step by step instruction would be greatly appreciated.

You can use it its about 20 -30 % more potent if I remember correctly

The above article shows how to use it as part of a DIY two part system. By itself, it is Ok for raising calcium, but does nothing for alkalinity.
