Pretty nice zoo's and rics

Just wanted to let everyone know that I was at Big Al's today and they got in some nice lime green rics and some REALLY nice zoos. They got some bright orange zoos and some of the pieces also have neon green and a pretty bright yellow. These are some of the nicest zoos ive seen at the lfs in awhile.

Caution: inspect them carefully since on 1 piece i could see a zoo eating nudi that the employee picked off and the piece i brought home had one as well. I did a dip but couldnt see anymore so hopefully it was just the one.

I'll try to take a pic but my camera and pcs dont so them justice. Under their MH's they were AWESOME!!

p.s.- as i put the piece in a bucket to drip acclimate them i almost had a heart attack and dropped it. When i took it out of the bag, there wasa decent sized brittle star coming out of the rock that touched me and scared me half to death before i realized it was just a pretty sweet hitchhiker:dance:

I usually dont shop there and just go because my 4 and 2 year olds love the shark tank but these were REALLY nice zoos and some pretty darn nice rics.

If my 180 was up and running(TOMORROW FINALLY!!!) i would have got a few more pieces of zoos and a few rics. Just dont have room in my 36g to keep them for the month itll probably take to get the 180 ready

Like i said, be careful though. Besides the nudi, the tank above these(i'm sure they are connected) was INFESTED with flatworms.

Lets all be honest about big als. Its the best store there is to window shop!

Agree 100%. Their anemone tanks are a DISGRACE! I dont know if ive ever seen a healthy anemone there.

Like i said, i never shop there(except maybe dry goods) but i couldnt pass on these zoos. Even with NO room in my 36g, i HAD yo get some. The oranges were so nice and they also had some green and yellows mixed in. Very bright. There was also a pretty nice little rock of reds but there was no way i could fit them in the 36g
