Pretty worried does my Duncan look ok?

Long story short a dead/dying red shroom ended up on my Duncan last night, before I got to bed I checked the tank and the shroom was on top upside down and the Duncan was 100 percent closed up, completely closed like I've never seen before. Now he looks like this. Should I be worried???

Only time will tell. It does not looks too bad in the image.
Why is it in a shaded location?

Moderate lighting is fine. Even high lighting after acclimated. Move him up. Give Duncans good flow too

Oh really??! Live aquaria say med light low to med flow. Well I suppose I will let him hopefully recoup then ill move him to a more lit area

Mine is 1/2 up tank with LEDs on 90% and high flow. Right under tunze that runs at 100%. Just not directly in flow. Gets more of the undertow the pump creates. But still high flow

Ok so I moved him into a far more lit area. I am thinking the mushroom was simply coincidental and he just wasn't liking that shaded spot he was in.

My duncan looks like that after my urchin decides to crawl over it :mad2: It always bounces back after a day or so, good luck!

Never updated this. He's doing awesome I think it was due to the spot and lighting. I should have taken a pic earlier he's got 3 new heads Doing super good!

I cannot see ANY of the pics unless someone quotes them. God I hate tapatalk. Just letting you know, a lot of us cannot see the pics. The only one I can see is the first one. I am going to quote your last one so I can see it though.

Here's an updated picture. He's doing wonderful and looks as good as I've seen him today!

Looks great. Duncans are pretty sturdy. I had one with about 12 heads that a Matted filefish picked at for months. He nipped every tentacle off. After I traded the fish the duncan grew perfectly again back to normal.

Yeah he was my first coral last month I love that he's doing so well, I enjoy spot feeding all my coral a couple times a week. My bubble that I got for free was almost a total loss and now he looks amazing after about a month.

Yep, they nip a lot of softs too. If only he did not nip, he ate the aips like a champ! I miss him now. I really did not mind the nipping except for the duncans. The 12 head duncan was my first coral. It grew from a piece of rubble rock that looked dead. As I said, sturdy coral.

Yes feeding them is great too! Nice feeding response.
