Price Check

Anyone know what a typical price would be on a glass 65g reef ready tank, probably something like the Aqueon 65g?

I want a 36x18 tank, pre-drilled w/ built in overflow, and there aren't many options out there so I guess I'm going to go with this configuration, but I don't want to overpay when I start going to shop at the aquarium stores in my area.

I'd actually prefer something a little less tall, but the only other thing I could find was a 57g rimless from deep blue and I don't want a rimless. I wish someone made a reef ready 40g breeder. I tried drilling one myself and using a glass holes overflow and the results sucked, it went in the garbage. I'd rather just get something ready to go.

Thanks for the advice.

Most LFS do not mark up glass. That's because they are a burden to move and store. Also selling the glass ensures their more profitable business, livestock and accessories sales. Ask your LFS what they have and likely they will check their suppliers and get you the best deal.

I already have a 36x18 stand which is why I'm looking for a tank of those dimensions. Otherwise the 60g cube might be an idea.

Regarding stores prices on tanks, where I live in Naples FL everyone over charges for everything, so that's why I'm trying to figure out what is a normal price on that tank so I can be sure I'm getting a fair deal. I can't find any average retail prices online for tanks though to check.
