I saw some nice looking Haitian Anemones, and what as listed as Purple Haitian Anemones. They were $10 and $15 respectively. Looked to be in excellent health, about the size of a large orange. Will ocelaris percs host in these? I saw a clown hosting in one, not sure what species of clown it was, I just saw a nose poking out. Do they have the reputation for wandering as some other species do? Are they considered to be relatively hardy for anemones? Also saw some Sebae anemones for $30 and 'long-tentacles for $40 but they were not quite as lively and healthy looking.

They Haitian Anemones are an Atlantic Condylactis sp. and not a natural host for clowns. It is up to the clown, but not really a recommended species for hosting.

If you are looking for a clown host, you would be well served in most instances by a BTA, E. quadricolor.
