How do you prime and ajust a prizm skimmer?

don't know if you have the deluxe model or the pro model but on the deluxe you should take the collection cup off and put a cup or two of water down into the main chamber then put the cup back on. You should open the adjuster on the pickup tube pretty much to fully open and plug the unit in, next take the attached airline and there should be two dimples on the left side of the collection cup and attach it to the farthest left which is called the prime plug or what i do is just use my thumb to plug the tube for a few seconds till you see water go up the pick up tube and then start coming out the exit. Once you get water flowing out of the unit take the air tube and stick it on the second nipple (the one just right of the prime plug) on the cup and your unit should start making bubbles you will just have to adjust it down so your not just filling the cup up with water. hope this helps you out. i have the deluxe model and have to keep adjusting it a few times each week, and also noticed if i keep cleaning the cup out it skims better, don't ask me why but it does. another week or two i won't have to worry about that when i get my in sump skimmer set up
