Pro Cear Aquatics protein skimmer

Do any of you use a protein skimmer by pro clear aquatics and if so do you like its performance?

That's all I use at home & my "other units". I have a 350 on both my 210 reef & 225 f/o. There are a couple of mods that I do to make them work better. If you want I'll PM you the mods that I do.

yes i would. i currently have that size on my 90 could it be to big are does it matter.

great skimmers, I have one as well. almost bullet proof. For the money.. very nice

I had a 150 on my 125 gallon and was never thrilled about the performance.
Sea Devil, I'd like to hear about those mods, maybe I can put it back into service...

Don't the manufacturer's properly test their products to look for ways to improve them?

I had one, the best thing I did was get rid of it.
Now that I have a different skimmer I can honestly
say that the quality of the Pro Clear was awful.

Man, I must be lucky, I havent had problems with mine and its about 4 years old. I love my pro clear. I do have a sealife on another tank and it seems better, but it better be, it was alot more money. They both pull the junk out like they are supposed to. No mods to either one.

had one, didnt like it, got an ASM, love it.
