I did the mods that Sea Devil showed me and I am very, very happy with the performance of my ProClear skimmer. It has been running with the mod for amost a month now. I liked the way the skimmer operated before, but it is even better now. I even replaced the black air tubing with two feet of clear tubing and a new air valve as he suggested. Have not had a single salt creep blockage now that I got the air inlet further away from the sump. Now, if I could just stop the damned coraline buildup!
