(Prob a stupid) Plumbing question

So I'm going back and forth on a 200 build and was wondering if I could use 90* elbows and a short (1.5 ft) horizontal run of PVC in the cabinet on a herbie style overflow?
There would be a union right at the top of the inside of the stand, then a 90* elbow, a ~ 1.5 ft horizontal run, another 90* elbow, gate valve, then vertical run into sump...
I'd like to do the horizontal run of PVC for 2 reasons: to install some sort of hanging system to the plumbing to minimize stress on the bulkhead and to keep the inside of the stand looking clean and maximize space.

Yes, you can use 90° bends on the down pipes from a Herbie. In fact, a 90° elbow or two is a great way to slow the falling water and prevent noise and bubbles of water crashing down into the sump too fast.
