What's the best thing to feed acans...i am feeding the formula one gell stuff but cant really seem to get it chopped up small enough...any tips on that or should i be using something else?

I feed my LPS Spectrum Pellets,& pieces of silverside.

I just got one, so take what I say with a grain of salt (( pun intended ))

So far mine has eaten, mysis, Rod's food, spectrum pellets, krill and LifeLine's herbivore mix. Most of that was just what happened to fall on it while feeding the fish. Only direct feedings were the mysis and a tiny piece of krill.

I feed mine a mixture of foods. I get a plastic cup and mix in frozen mysis and frozen cyclops-eze. I use some tank water in the mix and let it get to tank temperature. While I do that I use Coral Frenzy in the tank to get the feeder tent. out. It usually takes like 20 min for the mix to get the right temp. I speed it up by adding more tank water. I then target feed the food w/ Kent Sea Squirt or turkey baster. The sea squirt is nice with deeper tanks.
