probes and readings question

Just purchased a used Aquacontroller Pro system. The Ph probe reads 7.2 which is really low. Will a recalibration of the probe fix this? Also how long does the DO probe calibration kit last as it is quite expensive? What type of DO and conductivity readings should the normal tank see?

Yes, the pH probe needs to be calibrated. The DO calibration adapter should last forever; it is just a cable assembly so that an air calibration (100% saturation) can be performed. Most tanks have mS/cm readings in the 50-55 range. DO readings are typically 90-100% saturation, see the table in the back of the manual for saturation values for a particular temp/salinity.
