Problem toadstool coral

Hi I am new to this amazing hobbie and set up my tank 3 months ago. I have a toadstool leather mushroom coral and although it hasn't died it keeps shedding and has not fully opened, it also turns purple at night. My water parimeters are good and all fish and other corals thriving. Can you help!!!!

this is probably normal..leathers do this all the time...give it good flow too that would help when it sheds..what is your lighting and parameters also....that might help more....

Does it seem like your toadstool is increasing in size, shrinking or staying the same? For a happy toadstool the cycle of withdrawn polyps and/or shedding is associated with growth. How long have you had it?
