Problem with 5074 Kit

I bought a 5074 kit and it arrived last week. The check valve that came with the kit did not work properly and would siphon the water from the kalk unit back to my 20L tank I use as a water storage container. As a result the calcium also siphoned back into the storage container. I went out and bought an airline check valve and it prevents the water from siphoning back into the storage container. The problem is that the check valve I bought is too restrictive and it causes the water that is coming from the pump to trickle out. This does not allow the kalk in the bottom of the reactor to mix when topping off and there is a layer of kalk at the bottom of the 5074 that does not mix at all. Any check valves out there that you recommend? I cannot raise the 20L tank that stores the RODI water at the moment.

The dispenser is supposed to be inside the reservoir. It is not meant to be positioned outside, this is one possible problem area and in the future could lead to big problems as the hoses harden and can pop off in time. It is also critical that the hose be looped up above the reactor with the included zip tie, this reduces most of the work the check valve is doing. The tetratec check valve or hagen check valves both work fine, but the above items have to be done as well. The check valve really was not meant to have that much force on it or be exposed to straight powder which is extremely corrosive.
