So I treated my main tank with copernine for the 14 days and after removing most of it I put my live rock blood shrimp, two crabs and star fish back into the main this morning my star fish had died I'm now woried about the others and the rock I'm going to add more carbon to the filter today and do a hefty water change if anyone can give advice it will really help :)!
(I kept all snails and corals in the temp tank)

Did you have sand in your setup while you were treating with copper? You need to remove all copper before putting any inverts into the system. They can't tolerate copper at all. The live rock will absorb copper too so remove them ASAP.

2 the best of my knowledge cuprimine will continue to leach very mildly out of the sand, so and inverts which bury under the sand could be affected. I think the best option is to take everthing out of the water with copper and continue doing heavy water changes till it tests 0

Patience is a virtue in this hobby with out it you will fail

Any one else have any experience ????????

i dunno if i would ever treat my DT with a copper based product, just for the simple fact that i have heard that the copper can sometimes even be absorbed by the silicone holding the glass and it can leach out of there as well.
