Problem with lawnmower

My lawnmower has developed two spots on him that concern me. I only noticed them really today. He is in a quarantine tank. Let me explain a bit as it may help.

I accidentally brought ich into my mixed reef tank about a month and a half ago. After realizing what was going on(lost 3 fish in 3 days) I took all remaining fish (5) out of my main tank (75gal) and put them in a 10 gal bare tank and treated with SeaCure for 20 days. The ich eventually killed all but 3 of my fish (1 Sebae clown, 1 Watchman goby, 1 very large damsel). I had to get rid of the damsel as he started attacking the other fish and I did not like the damsel anyway.

One of my favorite fish was my lawnmower and it died so I purchased a replacement and set up a second quarantine tank with a piece of live rock I also purchased that I liked. This tank was meant to simply be a holding spot for the lawnmower and eventually the other fish after they completed treatment and prior to being put back in main tank. It has had no signs of any problems for past 3 weeks that it has been set up.

I only had 2 fish remaining in the quarantine and the recommended time for treatment with SeaCure had finished. I planned on moving the two fish into the other plain quarantine tank while I left my main tank fallow for at least 45 days. Then they could go in main tank again as long as all looked good.

The lawnmower recently got into a fight overnight with my watchman goby and killed it. Stripped all of its skin. So I figure this could somehow be related but figured I would ask the masses. Any ideas and or suggestions?

Looks like he might have the start of Lymphocystis virus.

It normally appears like white cotton-like patches on the fins. Its a virus, so the treatment is good water quality a good diet. It can be one of the more common type aliments in fish.

It will more then likly heal up on its own. Just watch to make sure you do not see the same thing around his mouth; which can cause problems feeding.

Speaking of feeding, I know he is new, but looking at the pic, might be because of the angle he is 'sitting' he looks a little thin, make sure to give him some groceries to fatten him up..

Good luck, sorry for you other losses.
