Problem with Maroon Gill

Hey guys, I noticed today that the left Gill of my Maroon is looking strange, He is still behaving fine and eating. Does anyone know what might be wrong?

I agree with Steve, above, that this fish does not look healthy. The picture is not crisp enough for additional analysis but I see more than just a gill issue.

Fish looks sickly. Clenched fins, skinny, spots I think I see in the pic... Go through this site well...

Thank you, I noticed his chipped fin at the LFS, He is doing better today, eating like a champ, hopefully he can pull through, He is alone in the tank right now so watching him and treating him is easy. I have a soft spot for "underdogs" after treating 2 Bettas to beastly health after getting them for free cause the LFS did not think they would pull through.

What food do maroon clowns go nuts for? I am currently feeding high protein pallets, flakes and dozing pods.

"Do not move the Maroon Clownfish with a net as its cheekspines will become entangled. Use a specimen container if capture is necessary."

Just read this on liveaquaria, And i surely watch the LFS employee use a net to scoop him out, is it possible it might have messed him up? and if so how do i help him?
