problem with my wavecontroller

Hello,

I've the following problem : The pump is working continuously as the wavecontroller, even plugged, is switched off. When I plug the wave controller on a regular pump, it switches on. When I plug the pump on the multicontroller and switch off the pumps (using the food timer) the pump switches off.
Do you have an idea of which piece doesn't work ?
Thanks

To be sure I understand. The pump works as it should with the 6091 wavecontroller, it turns off and on normally, but the foodtimer does not work? Have you tried the slave cable of the wavecontroller?

No, the pumps works but is not controlled by the wavecontroller. I've tried both cables.
If I want to change the pump, which one is the best between 6261 and 6215.200 for my wavebox 6212 ?

6215.200 is definitely stronger. My guess is that the cable form the controller to the pump has an internal break, it can probably be repaired by replacing the cable.

Thanks Roger. It seems that you are right, as it is working with the new pump. Unfortunately I've just seen that I also need to get a new foam rubber (and the sealing ring). I've just ordered them but meanwhile can I use the pump for a few days without the foam rubber or at least with the old one (it seems to be stable) ?

These parts just reduce noise, they are not critical for the function only to reduce the noise.
