I have plummed a refugium to gravity feed my main display. Since it is low flow, and i dont have alot of room over my tank, I drilled the 40 gal fuge on the back glass close to the top. I then hard plummed it to the main display.
My problem is, even with the low flow, bubbles come out of the drain in the display tank. I thought by making it deeper, this would eliminate the problem but I'm still getting bubbles.
Is there some sort of bubble trap I could put on the end, or should I just use a sponge or something?
I thought of stuffing the end with a round sponge but I'm worried I might overflow the fuge!
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
Waldo
