Problem with Reef Dynamics skimmer repair

Does anyone know what is going on at Reef Dynamics? After discussion with Jeff last week, I sent my skimmer body for repair. On Friday he said it was shipped and I gave him my credit card info. So, no sign of the skimmer (2 days shipping to here) and I can't get a tracking #/response to email, phone messages or just trying to get someone to pick up the phone. My fish are getting cross eyed and my corals are none to impressed!

In the past I've received excellent service, but this is unacceptable.

I have been to the shop, it is very small. Only a couple people who work there. I've seen the skimmers built there. If Jeff is not there the phone does not get answered he could be on vacation or sick. If he said he shipped it I believe that he did, the best thing he could have done was send the tracking info by e-mail. I feel you on a down skimmer I have a H&S and it has been down for a month waiting on a part from Germany lucky I got extra skimmers. Usually my stuff ends up at one of my neighbors house because they are serial UPS receivers so they see my street and off my stuff goes.

Yeah Moon, I've seen video of his shop and his products. I received an invoice by email with "UPS" noted but no tracking. It's been 5 working days since, for a two day trip. I'm not a happy camper. That said, hope Jeff hasn't suffered something serious.

I've had this skimmer running for about three years and like it just fine. I've had a few bumps with the pump, but who hasn't! I now have two pumps and spare parts. Unfortunately, no back up skimmer and I had been without for a week before I tipped over the main body onto my shop floor. Humpty Dumpty! So, skimmerless for over two weeks and surviving with over sized water changes, lots of GAC and a PO reactor.

Marc which skimmer do you have? do you have the Eco pumps? God I hope it got sent out and not setting on the table. That has happened to me a few times. When ever I have to have something it always gets there late, or it it is really valuable it gets stolen, both Fed EX and UPS are a pain when something goes wrong, they know how to circle the wagons.

Euroreef ( 135 I think), previous company to Reef Dynamics. Pump is a Sedra 5000. May be sitting on the table as you suggested, but without being able to contact Jeff, no way to know if it is or lost in transit or hit by a scud! In business, good communication is only second to top quality product. It's a shame to damage ones reputation for lack of such details.
